Semikron Danfoss is a global technology leader in power electronics. Our product offerings include semiconductor devices, power modules, stacks and systems. Semikron Danfoss is a family-owned business, merged by SEMIKRON and Danfoss Silicon Power in 2022. We employ more than 3500 people in 28 locations across the world.
What we do
As a leading manufacturer of medium-output power modules in the 2kW to 10MW range, our products are at the heart of millions of modern energy efficient drives worldwide. It is through this experience and focus that our customers can expect power performance. Our comprehensive product portfolio includes 11,600 different medium-output power electronics solutions including chips, bare dies, electronic power modules and intelligent power modules that integrate seamlessly and vertically with stacks and systems, enabling our customers enter new markets quickly.

Factory Tours
Semikron Danfoss offers students and professors tours at the Nuremberg site. A visit to the company’s largest production facility will give you an insight into the fascinating world of a successful power electronics manufacturer. Experienced engineers will show you the various production areas and production steps. During the 2-3 hour tour, we will also give you information on internships, career starts and career opportunities.
Youth and Technology
In order to encourage young people to develop an interest in technology and science at an early age, Semikron Danfoss forges close links with secondary schools and their pupils. For example, we are active members of the Förderkreis Ingenieurstudium e.V., which promotes studies and careers in engineering; we support our partner school in the First Lego League competition; and we take part in the annual Girls Day initiative.
Get to know us better
Besides numerous university activities, we take part regularly in job and career fairs held at universities in the region to bring us into contact with students and graduates. In individual meetings, engineers and HR business partners provide information on SEMIKRON as an attractive employer and provide insights into our products and production processes, both domestically and abroad.
